Every year cardiovascular diseases and sudden cardiac arrest continue to kill up to 250,000 people in America before they get to the hospitals. Currently, the survival rate for cardiac arrests outside of the hospital is less than 5 percent. But many more of these lives could be saved if only more people could be exposed to the proven four-step process that, when used to treat victims of cardiac and respiratory emergencies, greatly improve the rate of survival.
Our goal at Dallas Career Institute is to equip our health care students and other health care professionals as well as the general public with the CPR skills needed to reduce disability and death resulting from cardiovascular diseases. CPR classes are offered weekly at the school and it is open to the general public. The cost of the training is $50.00.
